Description

The hand puppet “Wiwaldi” first entered the spotlight of the comedy world in 1998.

Since 2002, he has been enchanting viewers of the German TV show “Zimmer frei!” with his cheeky mouth, in which he talks to the presenters’ guests (Götz Alsmann and Christine Westermann) in the celebrity talk part of the programme. Wiwaldi is often accompanied by other puppets created by Martin Reinl.

Since 2012, the dog has hosted his own show on WDR, which has also been broadcast on ARD since January 2015. In 2013, the Wiwaldi show was nominated for the Grimme Award in the entertainment category.

The mouth can be easily moved using the hand hole on the back of the animal’s head.

Special feature: In addition to the mouth and head, the front legs (“arms”) and front paws can also be played.

The hand puppet is designed to fit both - adults and childrens hands.
