Dilophosaurus Hand Puppet - Hansa Creation

For small scenes and animal stories, the dilophosaurus hand puppet by Hansa Creation is easy to use. It fits naturally into puppet theatre, story time and everyday imaginative play. This often leads to new little adventures.

Dilophosaurus lived during the early Jurassic approximately 193 million years ago in North America. It was one of the largest predatory dinosaurs of its era, reaching a length of roughly six metres. The two eponymous bony crests on its skull likely served for species recognition and courtship displays. As an agile hunter, it fed on smaller dinosaurs and fish.

Did you know that in the film "Jurassic Park", Dilophosaurus is inaccurately depicted with a neck frill and venom? In reality, it possessed neither — the film version bears little resemblance to the actual animal.
